KayLynn the little worker!

Today KayLynn went to work with Mommy -- all day!  K woke up with a slight temo and I was not positive as to the cause, and since her babysitter that day is pregnant -- I brought her to work with me.  She was sooo good.  I could not believe it.  She just played quietly all day (except the last 45 minutes when all but one co-worker were gone so she got to run up and down the hall chatting away!).  She drew pictures, played on my laptop, read books and played with stickers.  She ate lunch with me and my co-workers and had lots of snacks.  She even went into an empty office and took a 2 hour nap!

I probably wont be voluntering that option again anytime soon, but I was so proud of her and I kept telling her how proud I was of her.  I gave her a cupcake when we got home and told her that since she was so obedient at work that she got the cupcake as a special treat.  She kept saying, "I was obedient at GEO (my office)" while she was eating her cupcake.

I am thankful to the Lord that I was able to work yesterday (and actually got a lot done) because we could not afford for me to take another day off!  Thank you Lord!
