Happy Birthday Munchkin!

Saturday was KayLynn's six-month birthday! Our little Heart is half a year old. This is a picture of her with Winnie-the-Pooh on the day she came home from the hospital and Saturday...

Today we hung out with Kaeley and Tristan. We went shopping, looking for a chritening outfit for Tristan and to Starbucks so the mommies could talk and relax a bit!

To Re-Cap

2005 – I lived in Japan

2006 – I came home from Japan and started dating Max

2007 – I married the love of my life and moved into our wonderful home

2008 – I was given the most amazing gift in my beautiful little daughter.

2009 - ???

I have a feeling that this year may not live up to past years as far as large events, and I am ok with that. This year I will be doing the best work of my life thus far.

My personal goals this year are

1. to learn to better love my husband
2. to be the most cheerful and godly mother I can be
3. to learn to better prioritize my life, so that I am not so often overwhelmed with it

Our family goals are to

1. Get in shape and lose our beginning of marriage/new baby fat!
2. Communicate better with one another
3. Spend more active time together as a family and as a couple

I am looking forward to seeing what the Lord will do in our lives this year.

Our little Heart is growing in leaps and bounds:

** Not only is she rolling from her belly to her back, but this last weekend she started to go the other way.

** She has also started to be able to grab toys and play with them. It is rare now that she gets frustrated not being able to grab what she wants.

** She is still working on getting that pacifier back in her mouth on her own though. Sometimes she will sit for twenty minutes just taking it out and putting it back in.

** She loves to beam (smile very big) at you. She will turn her head, look at you and then give you the biggest smile she can. There is no mistaking the person with whom she is pleased! It is fun because the smiles are not general, they are most definatelty AT you!

I am more in love with this little one everyday. What blessings these little ones are in our lives.

Oh wait... I forgot Christmas!!

I know this comes as a shock to you all, but we have been so very very busy. Lately when I have had moments not requiring me to clean or get ready for something or work, I have spent them enjoying the little Heart of our Home. So, for those of you far away and waiting for pictures of her enjoying the Holidays, be assured they are coming, as well as an update on how big she is. God bless
