2 Things

1. Anyone up for joining a book club? If so let me know and we can get started, I would love to host it.

2. Are you busy on Monday evenings? starting next Monday Max will be busy mOnday evenings for several hours. I was hoping to take advantage of the time to meet with friends. Any ideas, or want to join me here just for tea and conversation??
As I lay here on my couch smelling my apple butter still warm I am thanking the Lord yet again for the blessing of being home. So much of my past two weeks has been the epitome of what I always dreamed of in staying home. In the midst of canning pickles attempting applesauce with too-wormy apples and finally making apple butter, I managed to keep a clean home (though sometimes it was late into the evening or a day late), get the laundry done (so what if my man only had one pair of underwaare left when I got it all done!) and keep. Somewhat happy child mostly clean and well fed. I was not as graceful as I would have liked, or my husband deserved, but I did it. I feel like I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing with my life.

KayLynn and I have kept busy with her job chart that she has to fill up each day. she loves doing things and then checking her job chart to see what's next. I often feel that I am the luckiest mom in the world. kayLynn is so helpful, she loves to do chores and be my big helper! She is starting to sound out words and is learning to recognize some words-like mom and dad. She is enjoying the kids bible study that I am teaching on Tuesdasy mornings and I ahopaing that being around other kids will be helpful to her.

Max is working like crazy and on day 10 of a 12 day week. thankfully He has a four day weekend and is looking forward to some time alone with KayLynn this Friday night while I am at the retreat.

Hope you are all doing well.

Tea Time

She had pink (apple) and I had earl grey. We cheer-sed, we slurped, because it was hot and we dipped our cookies... I love my kid and our special times together.
