Operation--KayLynn Time!

So I am really trying to make a conscience effort to spend good time with KayLynn... With the baby coming I want to be able to have special times with her to look back on! Today we made stained glass pictures by melting crayons on wax paper...KayLynn had a blast and loved that it was a big girl craft that babies can't do... Any other ideas if things we can do?

Oh yes, it's a boy!

I have been trying to get up the energy to actually write a blog post for a long time. however, it seems like something is always in the way...not least of which is that this pregnancy is kicking my butt! I can't believe how tired I am all the time, and the back pains and side pains and muscle pains and, well, you get it! Ugh... Anyway, yes, we are having a boy. as of today we think his name will be Logan James, but who know, Max changes his mind all the time, so nothing is set in stone. Though we were so shocked to find out that our second is a son, we are ecstatic to have our little Norman Rockwell family. I am nervous about how this will be different but also excited. Keep having visions of little dress shirts and khakis, mini ties and tuxedoes... I a thankful that not only do I have my wonderful girl-side kick, but now I too will have a mans heart to train for God. it's funny that my two will be the same distance in ages as Michael and I are!

So, I have gone through the pink, and gotten rid of clothes and pink dolls and all sorts of things I thought I would pass on, and am preparing for the blue.

When the doc told us that this baby is a boy, KayLynn shouted at him, "No, I wanted a girl." but then later she calmly said, "I'm just really frustrated because I wanted the baby to be a girl.". gotta love my articulate little three year old.
