Running to catch up...

Yesterday KayLynn needed a day off (and I don't hesitate to add that so did Mommy). Sunday we had the Krulishes over, which was so much fun. Max really enjoyed getting some Godly fellowship and is probably going to get involved in the youth ministry - yeah! However, KayLynn was a little exhausted. She would cry whenever we put her down, and her tummy was upset on top of it. When it all continued Monday morning, I didn't want to drop her at the babysitter's. So, we just curled up and cuddled all day. For those of you who have a (almost) two year old, you know that cuddles are usually reserved for special occasions, so I think it did my heart good to keep my baby in my arms all day. I will have to incorporate some "mommy" time in the weekends from now on!

Its funny though, whenever I get on top of one thing, it seems like others slide. I never get to be on top of it all - not even for five seconds! This is probably the Lord dealing with my character. Does anyone else feel like they are NEVER on top of everything?

So with you! With each additional child I feel less and less on top of life. I never used to forget things or be late places and now, well..you know. Someday maybe we will catch up, though I am not sure that is possible. Glad you could enjoy some cuddles with your sweet little girl.

Ha. Yeah. If I'm on top of violin, I'm usually not on top of school. If I'm on top of school- wait, that just about never happens. :P Glad you got some cuddle time. It's always special when Jackson does that with us. Today I rocked him because he wouldn't go to sleep and he cuddled up, I think he was almost asleep in my arms! It was a precious moment. A rare precious moment. :)

these are the best moments in life. You will long for them when she is big. you will almost ache when you remember how sweet she is. and when you are a grandmother it is even worse as you know how brief and sweet this time is

I'm pretty sure there really isn't anyone out there who IS ontop of it all. I'm pretty sure God does that so that we always know we can't do it alone.
