The LeFebvre Household is Pacifier FREE!!!!
FRIDAY:
Friday night we had KayLynn throw away the pacifiers and then we talked to her and told her that she was a big girl and no longer needed them. When we put her to bed (1 hour past bedtime) she went right to sleep. She woke up several times, but with a little help was able to put herself back to sleep.
SATURDAY:
Saturday nap was a different story - 2 hours. I will spare you the gory details, but I won. Saturday night - 20 minutes. She woke up a few times but put herself back to sleep, needing help only once.
SUNDAY:
Sunday (no nap problem) night - 1 minute, one time out of bed. She woke up once and put herself back to sleep. Luxurious sleep all night long!
The keys to this working are as follows:
~Prayer, lots of prayer!!
~An easy, obedient daughter!
This was a hard one for us. We never had the bottle struggle, she doesn't sleep with a specific blanket or doll, she is very flexible - but the pacifier was hard! We won and we have a happier, more content child because of it.
I'm so glad thats over!
